RSE

At Stephenson Memorial Primary School the well-being of our children is of the greatest importance.

With todays challenging world it is so important that we help them to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to keep themselves healthy and safe.

By Stephenson Memorial Primary School adopting a whole school approach to PSHE  we believe that this will enable the children to develop the qualities  and attributes needed  in order to to manage challenges and opportunities both now and in later life.

This is achieved by teaching pupils to stay safe, understand relationships, look after and understand their bodies and mental health and respect themselves and others around them. By teaching  PSHE in this way we aim to build resilience, self-esteem and raise the aspirations of our pupils.
